About The Company
One third of U.S. children are overweight or obese putting them at higher risk of heart disease and stroke.
The American Heart Association is taking a new approach in the fight against childhood obesity. They’ve teamed with noted child-nutrition activist and philanthropist, Kelly Meyer, to create the “American Heart Association Teaching Gardens”, planted in elementary schools across the country. These gardens are real-life learning laboratories for students to learn what it means to be healthy.
About This Project
The AHA Teaching Gardens teamed up with House of Battles to manage their digital landscape. The House of Battles team wrote and edited for the TG Blog, managed  social media platforms, designed marketing collateral and strategized plans for donor outreach.
